Vape / E-Cigarette requires declaration at customs (and in some cases an import permit) when carried by travelers into Pakistan. Federal Board of Revenue — Pakistan Customs applies a personal-allowance threshold per item category; quantities above attract duty + the destination's VAT/GST rate (18%) plus, for select categories, an additional excise tax. ASEAN AFTA / RCEP preferential treatment for member-state goods. Cultural-property export rules vary sharply by destination. Travelers should consult Federal Board of Revenue — Pakistan Customs for the current quantity threshold + documentation requirement before departure.

Leaving Pakistan with vape / e-cigarette
Personal-use vape devices are generally free to export from Pakistan. However, many destinations (Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, Vietnam, India in commercial quantities) prohibit or heavily restrict vape import — verify destination-side rules. Lithium-battery-powered devices should be carried in cabin baggage per IATA DGR.
Alcohol prohibited for Muslim travelers; non-Muslim travelers may bring 5 litres if declared and licensed at destination. Tobacco: 200 cigarettes / 50 cigars. Personal goods up to PKR 50,000 (≈USD 175). Higher allowance for returning expat residents under the Transfer of Residence facility.
