Pricing
The public website, the public API, and the public dataset are free and unmetered. That will not change.

What a paid tier would cover (if it launches)
A paid tier is not live. If and when one launches it would cover only the following — never the rule data itself:
Bulk data feeds and push delivery
Real-time webhook notifications when specific rules change, a replication protocol for internal mirrors, and scheduled daily/weekly bulk exports to S3 / GCS buckets.
Custom research
Sourced research on a rule, country, or HS chapter that isn't yet on the site, with turnaround and source-quality commitments.
Support SLA
Named support contact, guaranteed response times, dedicated correction-review queue.
Embed customisation and white-label
Branded embeds with custom colour schemes and removed GAB attribution on the widget (attribution in page-level CC-BY credit is still required).
What paying will never buy
- Faster correction response at the cost of unpaid users. Corrections are processed in order of source quality, not payment.
- Different rule statuses for paying customers. Every reader sees the same rule status, summary, and sources.
- Removal of the source URLs. Sources are load-bearing, not cosmetic.
- Recommendations of specific brokers, carriers or products. We remain neutral.
Getting in touch
If you're interested in any of the paid-tier items above and want to be notified when the tier is live, email api@goodsacrossborders.com. No mailing-list signup, no marketing follow-up — just a one-shot note back when the product is available.
The commitment
The rule data on this site was built as a neutral public reference. A paid tier can layer on top of that data — delivery, SLA, customisation — but it will never create a two-tier information experience where paying readers see truer rules than free readers. That commitment is the point of the project.
