Vape / E-Cigarette requires declaration at customs (and in some cases an import permit) when carried by travelers into Kuwait. Kuwait General Administration of Customs applies a personal-allowance threshold per item category; quantities above attract duty + the destination's VAT/GST rate (0%) plus, for select categories, an additional excise tax. GCC Common Customs Law applies for GCC member states; national restrictions on alcohol / pork / political-religious content are strictly enforced. Travelers should consult Kuwait General Administration of Customs for the current quantity threshold + documentation requirement before departure.

Leaving Kuwait with vape / e-cigarette
Personal-use vape devices are generally free to export from Kuwait. However, many destinations (Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, Vietnam, India in commercial quantities) prohibit or heavily restrict vape import — verify destination-side rules. Lithium-battery-powered devices should be carried in cabin baggage per IATA DGR.
Alcohol categorically prohibited regardless of quantity. Tobacco: 500 cigarettes / 60 cigars / 250 g loose tobacco. Personal goods up to KWD 300 (≈USD 980). Above attracts 5% GCC Common External Tariff + Kuwait Excise (where applicable).
