Vape / E-Cigarette requires declaration at customs (and in some cases an import permit) when carried by travelers into Cambodia. General Department of Customs and Excise applies a personal-allowance threshold per item category; quantities above attract duty + the destination's VAT/GST rate (10%) plus, for select categories, an additional excise tax. ASEAN AFTA / RCEP preferential treatment for member-state goods. Cultural-property export rules vary sharply by destination. Travelers should consult General Department of Customs and Excise for the current quantity threshold + documentation requirement before departure.

Leaving Cambodia with vape / e-cigarette
Cambodia has banned e-cigarettes since 2014 by decision of the National Authority for Combating Drugs; possession risks confiscation and fines. Because possession itself is unlawful, there is no personal-export pathway: travellers carrying vape devices through the airport risk confiscation and fines at security or customs screening, on departure as well as arrival. Travellers connecting through Cambodia should keep devices in checked or transit baggage and verify airline policy on lithium batteries (IATA DGR requires cabin carriage where devices are permitted at all).
Travelers aged 18+ may bring 2 L alcohol + 400 cigarettes / 100 cigars / 200 g tobacco duty-free. Personal goods up to USD 200.
Carry Vape / E-Cigarette in carry-on where applicable (medication / lithium battery / valuables). On arrival, walk the Red Channel and declare on the customs form. General Department of Customs and Excise computes duty + VAT at the published rate. Have the purchase receipt + (for medication) the original prescription available.
