Pepper Spray is prohibited for travelers entering Cameroon. Direction Générale des Douanes du Cameroun screens baggage at all ports of entry; the item is seized regardless of quantity, and depending on item class (narcotic / weapon / counterfeit / cultural-heritage), the traveler may face administrative or criminal penalty under the destination's controlled-substances / customs act. AfCFTA tariff-elimination phasing in. ECOWAS / EAC / COMESA / CEMAC sub-regional rules add a layer. Personal-import permit pathways exist for medication categories (see Direction Générale des Douanes du Cameroun guidance) but do not apply to most prohibited items.

Verify both the airline's policy and the destination's weapons law before carrying.
