Class 2.2 — Non-flammable, non-toxic gas

Summary

Compressed non-flammable, non-toxic gases (oxygen, nitrogen, refrigerants, dive cylinders). Portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) face device-specific carry-on allowances with airline approval.

Packing / quantity notes

Dive tanks: must be completely empty with valve open. Medical POCs: one per passenger with airline approval, spare batteries in carry-on only.
