Taking vape / e-cigarette out of Cambodia
E-cigarettes are banned in Cambodia, so there is no lawful personal export — devices found at departure are subject to confiscation.
Details
Cambodia has banned e-cigarettes since 2014 by decision of the National Authority for Combating Drugs; possession risks confiscation and fines. Because possession itself is unlawful, there is no personal-export pathway: travellers carrying vape devices through the airport risk confiscation and fines at security or customs screening, on departure as well as arrival. Travellers connecting through Cambodia should keep devices in checked or transit baggage and verify airline policy on lithium batteries (IATA DGR requires cabin carriage where devices are permitted at all).
