Taking alcohol / spirits out of Bangladesh
Bangladesh operates a permit regime for alcohol; travellers should not carry spirits out without verifying their possession is lawful under it.
Details
Alcohol possession in Bangladesh is restricted to permit holders and non-Muslim travellers under limited allowances. Where possession is lawful (duty-free purchase, permitted stock), taking a personal quantity out of the country is not separately controlled, but travellers should retain purchase receipts showing lawful acquisition. Destination-side duty-free allowances (typically 1-2 litres) govern the arrival side.
