Prescription eyewear in use and spare pairs are personal effects and enter Poland without declaration, duty, or any customs formality — this applies at every covered border. Carrying a copy of the optical prescription is practical (replacement abroad, pharmacy queries) but is not a customs requirement. Only obviously commercial quantities (a consignment of identical new frames) would engage National Revenue Administration (KAS) — Customs Service as trade goods requiring declaration.
Leaving Poland with prescription glasses
Personal-use prescription glasses and spare pairs may be taken out of Poland without export formalities. Prescription eyewear faces no export controls anywhere. Carrying a copy of the optical prescription is useful for replacement abroad and for destination pharmacies.
