CBD Oil is prohibited for travelers entering Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Customs screens baggage at all ports of entry; the item is seized regardless of quantity, and depending on item class (narcotic / weapon / counterfeit / cultural-heritage), the traveler may face administrative or criminal penalty under the destination's controlled-substances / customs act. ASEAN AFTA / RCEP preferential treatment for member-state goods. Cultural-property export rules vary sharply by destination. Personal-import permit pathways exist for medication categories (see Sri Lanka Customs guidance) but do not apply to most prohibited items.

CBD product export is variable across jurisdictions. Hemp-derived CBD with sub-threshold THC (0.2% EU, 0.3% US) is generally exportable. Full-spectrum products above threshold THC face controlled-substance treatment under Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance. Carry the manufacturer's Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Do not carry CBD Oil into Sri Lanka. If you arrive with the item by accident, surrender at the Red Channel for seizure-only treatment rather than walking the Green Channel — the latter is treated as deliberate smuggling.
