Adderall in Thailand is a Category I psychotropic substance under the Psychotropic Substances Act — manufacture, sale, and import are tightly controlled. Travelers must obtain Thai FDA pre-approval (filed at least 14 days before travel) supported by the prescription, doctor's letter, and an Embassy Letter of Authentication. Without pre-approval, Adderall is seized at the Red Channel.

At the airport
- Adderall is prohibited under Thailand's Narcotics Act B.E. 2522. If you arrive with it, proceed to the Red Channel at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang.

- Expect confiscation and possible referral to the Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) or Royal Thai Police. Cooperate fully and contact your embassy if detained.
