What an EORI is
An EORI is the trader-ID number assigned by an EU member state's customs authority or by HMRC for the UK. Every commercial customs declaration crossing the EU or UK border must reference an EORI on the import or export entry. EU and UK now maintain two separate registries post-Brexit.
