USDA APHIS prohibits mailing fresh fruit to the US from most countries to prevent agricultural pest transmission. Only fruit from countries with specific pre-clearance agreements may be shipped, and only through approved commercial channels with phytosanitary certificates.
Do not mail fresh fruit to the US. It will be intercepted and destroyed by APHIS.

Postal imports follow the same $800 de minimis threshold. USPS international parcels are subject to CBP examination. Commercial shipments via post require formal entry if over $2,500.
