Customs notes

Douanes françaises operates green / red channels at all three terminals. EU intra-community passengers skip customs entirely; arrivals from third countries follow either nothing-to-declare (green) or red (cash ≥€10,000, restricted goods, commercial quantities).

Transit

International-to-international transfers at T2E/T2F are airside without customs clearance. T1-to-T2 requires the CDGVAL automated people mover (4-5 minutes) and a minimum connection of 90 minutes including security re-screening.

Known quirks

• T2E's hall K, L, and M are physically separated — check your connecting hall before leaving the arrival area
• Schengen-to-non-Schengen connections require passport control re-clearance at the boundary
• PARAFE automated border kiosks accept EU/EEA/Swiss passports plus select third-country biometric passports
