Tramadol is a controlled substance in most jurisdictions. Personal-use quantities accompanied by the prescription and doctor's letter are generally permitted for export under Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics. Above these limits, a BPOM / Ministry of Health (Indonesia) authorisation is required.
