Taking testosterone out of Malaysia
Testosterone is a controlled anabolic steroid; personal export from Malaysia requires the prescription and stays within personal-use limits.
Details
Testosterone and other anabolic steroids are controlled substances in most jurisdictions (US Schedule III; UK Class C; equivalents elsewhere) under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 framework. Personal-use quantities for legitimate hormone therapy, accompanied by the prescription and doctor's letter, are generally permitted for export from Malaysia. Injectable formulations should stay in pharmacy packaging with needles documented. Quantities beyond personal-use supply are treated as trafficking; a Pharmaceutical Services Programme (MoH Malaysia) authorisation is required for above-personal quantities.
