Testosterone and other anabolic steroids are controlled substances in most jurisdictions (US Schedule III; UK Class C; equivalents elsewhere) under the Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics framework. Personal-use quantities for legitimate hormone therapy, accompanied by the prescription and doctor's letter, are generally permitted for export from Indonesia. Injectable formulations should stay in pharmacy packaging with needles documented. Quantities beyond personal-use supply are treated as trafficking; a BPOM / Ministry of Health (Indonesia) authorisation is required for above-personal quantities.
