Taking testosterone out of China
Testosterone is a controlled anabolic steroid; personal export from China requires the prescription and stays within personal-use limits.
Details
Testosterone and other anabolic steroids are controlled substances in most jurisdictions (US Schedule III; UK Class C; equivalents elsewhere) under the PRC Narcotics Control Law; State Council Regulations on Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Control framework. Personal-use quantities for legitimate hormone therapy, accompanied by the prescription and doctor's letter, are generally permitted for export from China. Injectable formulations should stay in pharmacy packaging with needles documented. Quantities beyond personal-use supply are treated as trafficking; a NMPA / GACC personal-export authorisation is required for above-personal quantities.
