Vietnam restricts adult products under obscenity/pornography legislation — sale is unlawful and possession sits in a legal grey zone enforced unevenly. Taking a personal item out of the country attracts no specific export control, but a customs officer encountering one at screening could in principle treat it under the obscene-articles framework. Discreet packing in checked baggage is the practical norm; commercial quantities are treated as prohibited goods.
