Taking professional camera out of United States
Professional camera equipment may be exported from United States freely at personal-use quantities.
Details
Personal-use professional camera equipment may be taken out of United States without export formalities. High-value kits carried for professional work may warrant registering serial numbers with customs before departure (or an ATA Carnet for commercial gear) so the equipment re-enters duty-free on return. Some destinations require permits for professional filming equipment on arrival.
