Kava (Piper methysticum) faces no export prohibition from Thailand at personal quantities. Destination-side treatment varies widely: Australia caps traveller imports (2 kg allowance under the kava pilot rules), Poland and a few European jurisdictions control it, and the UK bans its sale for human consumption though personal possession is not criminalised.
