Details

Personal-wear gold jewellery is generally free to export from Israel at reasonable personal-use quantities. High-value personal jewellery (typically above USD 10,000 equivalent) should be declared on ITA Customs Currency Report. Gold bullion, bars, and coins face different treatment — may require advance export authorisation from the central bank for commercial quantities. Antique jewellery over cultural-property age thresholds may require an export permit.
