Taking cbd oil out of Indonesia
CBD is a controlled substance in Indonesia with no lawful personal possession, so there is no lawful export of CBD products.
Details
Indonesia treats cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabis derivatives as controlled substances under Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, with no general personal-possession exemption for hemp-derived or low-THC products. Because lawful possession is not available to travellers, there is no personal-export pathway — CBD products found at departure screening are subject to seizure and the traveller to prosecution under the same narcotics framework that applies on entry. Travellers should not transit Indonesia carrying CBD products of any THC content.
