Indonesia does not recognise amphetamine-based ADHD medicines (dextroamphetamine/amphetamine mixed salts) as approved medicines — they are treated as illicit narcotics under Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics regardless of a foreign prescription. Because lawful possession is not available to travellers, there is no personal-export pathway. Travellers who entered with undeclared Adderall face prosecution on exit as well as entry. Anyone requiring ADHD medication while in Indonesia should consult the destination health authority about approved alternatives before travel.
