Details
Travelers aged 18+ may bring 200 cigarettes (or 100 cigarillos, 50 cigars, 250g of tobacco) duty-free into the UK from non-EU countries. Quantities above attract UK Tobacco Duty (currently GBP 15.91 per pack of 20 plus 16.5% ad valorem) plus 20% VAT. Cigarettes brought in from EU member states are subject to UK domestic excise rates regardless. HMRC operates the Red Channel at LHR/LGW/STN/MAN for declarations.

Practical advice
