Goods: €430 for air/sea travelers, €300 for land travelers. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a major EU entry point — customs processes significant volumes.
Adult travelers from outside the EU may bring 200 cigarettes / 50 cigars / 250g of tobacco duty-free; intra-EU travelers may carry up to 800 cigarettes for personal use. Declare any excess to Douane Nederland for the Dutch excise rate (EUR 411 per 1,000 cigarettes) plus 21% VAT.
