Testosterone in Thailand is a Category III psychotropic substance under the Psychotropic Substances Act — prescription-only with carriage limits. Travelers must obtain Thai FDA pre-approval at least 14 days before travel, supported by the prescription, doctor's letter, and an embassy authentication. Without pre-approval, the medication is seized at the Red Channel. Enforcement in Thailand carries fines from THB 5,000 to THB 500,000 under Customs Act B.E. 2560 (2017) s.202, s.242 (ordinary personal cases are handled as civil infringements). Leaving Thailand with testosterone is a separate question — restricted: Testosterone is a controlled anabolic steroid; personal export from Thailand requires the prescription and stays within personal-use limits.
