No restrictions for personal cameras
Details
Travelers may bring professional camera equipment into the UK for personal use without restriction; HMRC treats single-unit professional cameras with one or two lenses as personal effects with no separate declaration. Multiple cameras (3+) or a kit valued above GBP 873 (the standard non-EU traveler allowance) may attract questions about commercial intent. ATA Carnets are accepted for kits valued above GBP 1,500 and unaccompanied baggage shipments.
