Carrying a copy of the optical prescription is practical (replacement abroad, pharmacy queries) but is not a customs requirement. Only obviously commercial quantities (a consignment of identical new frames) would engage Norwegian Customs (Tolletaten) as trade goods requiring declaration.
Leaving Norway with prescription glasses
