Details
Thailand bans all e-cigarette liquids (with or without nicotine) under the Ministry of Commerce Notification B.E. 2557 (2014), reinforced by the Customs Act and the Consumer Protection Act. Import, export, sale and possession are criminal offences. Penalties include fines up to 10 times the import value or up to five years imprisonment, or both (Section 244 of the Customs Act). Thai Customs routinely seizes e-liquid in both checked and carry-on baggage at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.
