Details
Recreational drones in South Korea are regulated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) under the Aviation Safety Act. Drones over 250g require online registration with the Korea Office of Civil Aviation; flights above 150m or near airports / Cheong Wa Dae require advance permission. Personal-use import is allowed; declaration encouraged for devices over KRW 6 million (general personal-effects allowance).
