Full details

Taiwan classifies cannabidiol (CBD) and all cannabis-derived products, including CBD oil, as Schedule II controlled drugs under the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act (毒品危害防制條例). The Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau enforces strict zero-tolerance enforcement at all ports of entry. Possession, importation, or trafficking of any amount can result in criminal prosecution. There is no medicinal or personal-use exemption for CBD at Taiwan's borders.

ENFORCEMENT

ActiveCustoms actively enforces this rule.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

Do not carry any CBD products into Taiwan. Dispose of or leave behind any CBD items before departure, regardless of legal status in your home country.
