Taiwan classifies cannabidiol (CBD) and all cannabis-derived products, including CBD oil, as Schedule II controlled drugs under the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act (毒品危害防制條例). The Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau enforces strict zero-tolerance enforcement at all ports of entry. Possession, importation, or trafficking of any amount can result in criminal prosecution. There is no medicinal or personal-use exemption for CBD at Taiwan's borders.
