CBD Oil is prohibited for travelers entering Myanmar. Myanmar Customs Department screens baggage at all ports of entry; the item is seized regardless of quantity, and depending on item class (narcotic / weapon / counterfeit / cultural-heritage), the traveler may face administrative or criminal penalty under the destination's controlled-substances / customs act. ASEAN AFTA / RCEP preferential treatment for member-state goods. Cultural-property export rules vary sharply by destination. Personal-import permit pathways exist for medication categories (see Myanmar Customs Department guidance) but do not apply to most prohibited items.

Leaving Myanmar with cbd oil
Myanmar treats cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabis derivatives as controlled substances under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law 1993, with no general personal-possession exemption for hemp-derived or low-THC products. Because lawful possession is not available to travellers, there is no personal-export pathway — CBD products found at departure screening are subject to seizure and the traveller to prosecution under the same narcotics framework that applies on entry. Travellers should not transit Myanmar carrying CBD products of any THC content.
Do not carry CBD Oil into Myanmar. If you arrive with the item by accident, surrender at the Red Channel for seizure-only treatment rather than walking the Green Channel — the latter is treated as deliberate smuggling.
