Indonesia classifies all cannabis derivatives including CBD as Category I narcotics under the Narcotics Law. Penalties for import include imprisonment of 5-15 years and fines up to IDR 10 billion. Indonesia has some of the strictest drug laws in Southeast Asia. Enforcement in Indonesia carries fines from IDR 100,000,000 to IDR 5,000,000,000 and imprisonment up to 10 years in aggravated cases under Customs Law No. 17/2006 Art. 102; Narcotics Law No. 35/2009. Leaving Indonesia with cbd oil is a separate question — prohibited: CBD is a controlled substance in Indonesia with no lawful personal possession, so there is no lawful export of CBD products.
