CBD Oil is prohibited for travelers entering Hungary. National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) — Customs Directorate screens baggage at all ports of entry; the item is seized regardless of quantity, and depending on item class (narcotic / weapon / counterfeit / cultural-heritage), the traveler may face administrative or criminal penalty under the destination's controlled-substances / customs act. EU customs harmonisation and EU Regulation 608/2013 IPR enforcement apply alongside national rules. Personal-import permit pathways exist for medication categories (see National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) — Customs Directorate guidance) but do not apply to most prohibited items.

CBD product export is variable across jurisdictions. Hemp-derived CBD with sub-threshold THC (0.2% EU, 0.3% US) is generally exportable. Full-spectrum products above threshold THC face controlled-substance treatment under Criminal Code (Act C of 2012) ss. 176-180. Carry the manufacturer's Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Do not carry CBD Oil into Hungary. If you arrive with the item by accident, surrender at the Red Channel for seizure-only treatment rather than walking the Green Channel — the latter is treated as deliberate smuggling.
