Details

Philippines' Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) classifies cannabis seeds as a dangerous drug. Bureau of Customs and PDEA screen arriving travellers at MNL / CEB / DVO; seeds are seized regardless of germination status. Personal-quantity carriage carries 12-20 years imprisonment plus PHP 300,000-400,000 fine under section 11; trafficking penalties scale to life imprisonment.
