Egypt allows 1 liter of spirits and 2 liters of beer/wine duty-free. As a Muslim-majority country, alcohol is available but restricted to tourist areas, licensed hotels, and a few shops (Drinkies chain). Duty-free allowances are strictly enforced at Cairo and Hurghada airports.
