Details

Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) is a Class A controlled drug in Singapore under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Personal-use import requires Health Sciences Authority approval at least 10 working days before arrival, supported by a doctor's letter, prescription, and the application via the HSA online portal. Quantities are capped at a 30-day supply. Bringing Adderall without HSA approval is treated as drug trafficking and carries minimum 5-year imprisonment plus caning.

At the airport

1. Adderall (amphetamine salts) is a Class A drug in Singapore. If you arrive with it, proceed to the Red Channel at Changi immediately.
2. Declare the medication to the CNB/Customs officer and present your home-country prescription and any supporting medical documentation.
3. Expect the medication to be confiscated and a formal statement taken. You may be arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Contact your embassy immediately.

Transit

Transit not permitted. Singapore's Misuse of Drugs Act provides no transit exception for amphetamines. Adderall is a Class A controlled drug. Possession at Changi Airport — including by transit passengers — is an offence under Singapore law.

Surrender at customs

Singapore CNB and ICA accept voluntary surrender of Class A controlled drugs at port of entry. Declare immediately to officer. CNB-issued surrender receipt. Proactive surrender may avoid prosecution for personal-quantity importation under MDA section 7 discretion — legal advice strongly recommended.

Practical advice

Absolutely do not bring Adderall to Singapore. Contact a Singapore doctor for alternative ADHD treatment before travel.
