Checklist

Apply via your home chamber of commerce 5-10 working days before travel. Provide detailed list with serial numbers + per-item value.

Pay the carnet fee (USD 200-500 typical) + a security deposit (typically 40% of total declared value, held until carnet return).

On departure: present the carnet to home-country customs for stamp (Yellow page).

On destination arrival: present to destination customs for stamp (White page). Carry list of every item being declared.

On destination departure: re-export stamp (Yellow re-export page).

On home return: final stamp. Security deposit released.
