Singapore prohibits the import, sale, and posting of all chewing gum except therapeutic dental / nicotine gum approved by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) under the Sale of Food Act and Regulation of Imports and Exports Act. Postal parcels found containing gum are seized at SingPost / private-courier customs clearance. Repeat commercial offenders face fines up to SGD 100,000.
Do not mail chewing gum to Singapore. Only therapeutic gum is permitted and only through licensed channels.

Singapore Post and customs inspect international parcels. GST applies to all low-value imported goods as of 2023. Controlled items require appropriate permits even if sent by post.
