Special Notes
- 01Sanctions context: bidirectional sanctions with the EU/US/UK affect commercial trade since 2022. Personal carriage of consumer goods remains broadly permitted but carriage of dual-use items, sanctioned electronics, and luxury goods over EUR 300 may attract additional scrutiny.
- 02Unified Federal Information System (UFIS) tracks customs declarations electronically; commercial importers must register via the Personal Account portal.
- 03Currency control: Russian residents may export RUB up to RUB 100,000 cash; foreign currency is capped at the declared inbound amount.
