Customs declaration form

The form a traveller fills in on entry to declare goods, currency, food, and other reportable items.
A customs declaration form is the document — paper, kiosk-electronic, or mobile-app-based — through which a traveller declares items subject to customs control on entry into a country. Typical entries: goods above the duty-free allowance, currency above the declaration threshold, food and plant material, animal products, weapons, controlled substances, commercial samples. Failure to declare an item that is subsequently found typically triggers an on-the-spot fine; serious or repeat non-declaration may trigger criminal prosecution.
