Customs notes
Thai Customs operates green / red channels on the Arrivals floor (Level 2). Duty-free allowances: 200 cigarettes, 1 litre alcohol, personal effects under 20,000 THB value. Cash over USD 20,000 (or THB 450,000) requires declaration.
Transit
Suvarnabhumi is a single mega-terminal with concourses A–G radiating from the central core. International-to-international transfers are airside through the transit corridor. Minimum connection 90 min — long walking distances between concourses.

Known quirks
- Electronic cigarettes and vape devices are banned — confiscated and fine up to 30,000 THB or up to 10 years prison for possession/import since Customs Act 1987 Section 244
- E-visa on arrival available for certain nationalities but processed at a separate kiosk bank before immigration
- Swine products (including cured hams, sausages) banned under ASF control rules — agricultural beagle teams on arrival
